Description
The Competition is a Four Man Team Stroke Play Scratch Event played over 36 holes.

Entries and Fees
Each Club in the Union shall be entitled to enter a team of FOUR amateurs. The entrance fee shall be determined by the Executive Committee and shall be paid with the Annual subscription. The Competition shall be in TWO parts, namely a qualifying round played over 18 holes and a Final played over 36 holes, both from scratch. The leading SEVEN teams from the previous year’s competition shall qualify for the Final in the following year and shall be exempt from the qualifying round. The leading EIGHT teams from the qualifying round shall qualify for the Final.

Winner
The Winners of the event shall be the team returning the lowest aggregate score in the Final and shall hold the Nelson Grimshaw Trophy for one year. Prizes shall be presented to the winning team, runners up and third placed team. The player returning the lowest individual score over 36 holes in the Final shall be awarded the Swithenbank Trophy for one year and a prize.
