Leeds & District Union of Golf Clubs

1. In the event of the number of entries exceeding 72 a ballot will be held from the highest handicap entries.

2. Play shall be by stroke play over 18 holes both from scratch and under handicap.

3. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
Scratch   Lowest Gross Score   Second Lowest Gross Score
Handicap 0-12   Lowest Nett Score   Second Lowest Nett Score
Handicap 13-21   Lowest Nett Score   Second Lowest Nett Score


4. The W.H. Fenton Trophy and Stroke Play Champion will be held for one year by the competitor returning the LOWEST GROSS SCORE.

5. The Headingley Trophy will be held for one year by the competitor returning the LOWEST NETT SCORE (Handicap limit 21).

6. The Judy Raynor Cup will be held for one year by the competitor under 15 years of age at 1st January, returning the LOWEST NETT SCORE (Handicap limit 21).

7. The 16 leading competitors on gross scores will compete for the JUNIOR MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP. The competition will be played over two days following the Junior Championship and shall be decided by match play, each match being played off scratch over 18 holes. The draw will be decided by the order in which the competitors finished in the stroke play championship (1 vs 16, 2 vs 15 etc.).

8. The winner shall be the Junior Match Play Champion and will be awarded the Presidents Cup.
