Winner Josh Shaw (Roundwood)
On a testing day at Pontefract some excellent scores were posted with George Pennells (Cookridge Hall) recording a first round score of 70 to lead by one shot from Rob Wardle (Selby), Josh Shaw (Roundwood) and Torren Matthews (Oulton Hall).
As the cold wind increased Jamie Harrison (Rotherham) posted the lowest score of the afternoon 70 to lead the field with a 36 hole total of 143. However his total was matched by Josh Shaw with a second round score of 72 to force a play off for the Championship over the 9th, 10th and 8th holes.
Josh took an early lead making 4 from the bunker on the 9th with Jamie surprisingly taking 3 puts after hitting the green in 2 strokes. Both players made par 4's at the 10th and Josh claimed the title with a par 4 against Jamie's bogey 5 on the 8th hole.
Josh won both the 'Swaine Trophy' as Championship winner and the 'Leslie H Bakes Trophy as leading Amateur.

Fourth place – Niall Murphy (Pro Oulton Hall) 74 72. Won £100 (cheque).
Best am round – George Pennells (Pro Cookridge Hall) 70. Won £50 (cheque).
Best pm round – Steve Pullan (Pro Sand Moor) 71. Won £50 (cheque).
Best nett – Joe Smith (5 handicap - Howley Hall) 72/67 + 80/75 = 142 Wins £60 voucher.
2nd nett – Andrew Finney (3 handicap – Stocksbridge) 75/72 + 75/72 = 144 Wins £40 voucher.
