Normanton had a clean sweep winning both trophies at the 2nd Division Team Championship, proudly sponsored by Ludwell Electrical, held at Sand Moor. The host club - featuring President Elect Bob Thorp - were first out and posted an impressive team score of 357, two strokes ahead of Wike Ridge. However, their lead lasted until late afternoon when the Normanton quartet of Daniel Stamp, Christopher Tandy, Michael Tinkler, and Stephen Padgett came home with a stonking score of 350 to take the J H Robinson Trophy and win the 2nd Division Team Championship for the first time.

Daniel Stamp (13) of Normanton also won the best gross with 82 to win the Bill Darby Trophy.
The competitors complimented Sand Moor on the condition of the course with the greens being in superb condition.
