Associate Members Spring Meeting

Garforth members David Hoyle and Martin Fox won the Associate Members Spring Meeting at Horsforth with a fine score of 44 points. The course was in fine fettle and a strong wind proved challenging throughout the day with 152 Associate Members competing. Runners up on 43 points were Callum and Mick Gaughan from Normanton. LDUGC Team Manager Nigel McKee and his partner C Bonner from Leeds finished in third on 42 points on countback from Peter Fielding and John Holt from Low Laithes.

Also in the prizes were Garforth golfers in 5th place Mark Holliday and Stuart Garside  and in 6th place John Kay and Trevore Ineson.
