2nd Division Team Championship Rules
The Competition is a Four Man Team Stroke Play Scratch event played over 18 holes.
Each Club in the Union shall be entitled to enter a team of FOUR amateurs whose playing handicaps shall be not less than 13 on the day of the Competition. Each player must hold an active CONGU handicap and be a bona fide member of the Club.
The entrance fee shall be determined by the Executive Committee and shall be paid with the Annual subscription.
The Winner of the event shall be the team returning the lowest aggregate score and shall hold the J. H. Robinson Trophy for one year. Prizes shall be presented to the winning team, runners up and third placed team.
The player returning the lowest individual score over 18 holes shall be awarded the Bill Darby Trophy for one year and a prize.
Winners MUST be present or arrange for a representative to attend the prize presentation (Trophies and vouchers will NOT be sent to those not attending).
