The Griffin Trophy Rules

The Competition is a Mixed 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford handicap Event played over 18 holes. Men to play from Yellow tees and Ladies from the Red tees. Handicaps to be adjusted based upon Difference in CONGU Recommendations for Mixed Golf.


Entry shall be open to any pair of members from the same affiliated Club whose handicaps do not exceed 24.0 for Gentlemen and 36.0 plus any adjustment for Ladies. Handicap allowance will be 85% taken after any adjustment applied.

All players MUST have a current Handicap Index to win a prize.

The Winners of the event shall be the pair returning the highest points and shall hold the Griffin Trophy for one year. Prizes shall be presented to the winners and runners-up and others as per Tournament Rules & Regulations clause 5.
