New leader in Junior Order of Merit
Round 12 of The Copier Company Junior Order of Merit was held at Garforth Golf Club with 15 competitors taking part.
Joe Tait (Garforth) playing in his first OOM competition of the season scored a gross 78 to secure 100 OOM points. Runner up was Max Adams (Wakefield) 2 strokes behind. Daniel Lee (Sand Moor) was third with a score of 84.
As a result of this, Daniel moves to the top of the OOM leaderboard with 425 points, 10 ahead of Cameron Owen (Oulton Hall) with Nathan Ali (Cookridge Hall) on 400 points.
In the nett competition the placings at the top of the leaderboard are unchanged with Maclain Simpson (Wike Ridge) holding a commanding lead on 411 points from Daniel Lee 338 points and Wike Ridge's Amaan Iqbal on 333 points.
So, going into the final week it is all to play for. Who will win the coveted Copier Company Golf Bags?
Scarcroft on 28 August, Leeds on 30 August and Horsforth on 2 September.
