Moor Allerton Junior Open

Moor Allerton held its Junior Open on 6 August against a weather forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms that failed to materialise.

Mathew Parlett (Moortown) claimed the maximum 100 points in his first competition of the season. Niall Langley-Brook (Cookridge Hall) continued his rich vein of form to claim 85 points in the Copier Company gross competition. Niall now leads on 160 points from second placed club mate Ben Telfer on 110 points.

In the nett competition, Danny Jones (Horsforth) secured 100 points with a fine  score of 73 to move 50 points ahead of Niall.
