Griffin Trophy

The Union held the Griffin Trophy Championship at Selby Golf Club on 31 July 2022. After a damp start the weather held fair. 24 couples took part. The pace was set by first out Ian and Karen Townend (Woolley Park) who reached the turn in 24 points and bettered that by one point on the back nine to score a very impressive 49 points and leave the rest of the field trailing in their wake. In second place on 44 points were club mates Geoff and Andrea Mitchell who beat Chris Walker and Tracey Frost (Wike Ridge) on count back.
