Scarcroft Junior Open and OOM R11
Scarcroft hosted its Junior Open and The Copier Company OOM Round 11 with 28 competitors taking part.
In the Gross Competition 2016 OOM winner Cameron Owen (Oulton Hall) shot a fine 72 to take The Copier Company Method Putter and 100 points. In second place, Jamie Dunion (Moortown) scored 73 to win 85 points with Nathan Ali (Cookridge Hall) 2 strokes behind, winning 75 points.
James Hamilton (Wike Ridge) scored a fantastic 65 to win the nett competition and 100 points. Cameron Owen was second with a nett 68 (85 points) and Jamie Dunion third one stroke behind (75 points).
The top of the OOM leaderboard is very close.
In the Gross competition Jamie Dunion and Nathan Ali are tied on 445 points with Cameron Owen in third on 420 points.
Jamie Dunion now also leads the Nett competition on 411 points with Harley Scott-Ellis (Wike Ridge) on 366 points and Nathan Ali on 365 points.
Sadly there are insufficient entries for the Selby Junior Open to count for OOM points so it will go down to the wire at the last event - Horsforth on Sunday 3 September.
