The Smiths win the Griffin Trophy

21 pairs contested the Griffin Trophy at Low Laithes on Sunday. There were a number of cracking scores and it was late in the day when local pair Alan and susan Smith carded a stonking 46 points to win the trophy 2 points ahead of previous winners David and Elaine Walkden (Scarcroft) and 2017 winers T R Hegarty and Bev Ewing (Headingley).
