YIDU Junior Club Championship
Congratulations to Moortown Juniors who today won the YIDU Junior Club Championship, hosted by the Bradford Union at Keighley. The course was in tip top condition with lightening fast greens. The format was team stableford with the best two scores from three counting. Playing in sweltering heat the Moortown team (Joe Ellis - 31 points, Matthew Parlett - 33 points, and Cian Magill - 36 points) scored a magnicient team total of 69 points to win by three points from Halifax/Hudderfsfield Union. None of the field managed more than 36 points. James Haw (York) won the best individual beating Cian on countback.
