Second Division Team Championship
A fine performance from the Garforth team of J. Dexter(94), I.M.Doughty(85), P. Muldoon(86) and K.Vincent(92)secured the Second Division title in their Centenary Year. They finished 3 shots clear of nearest rivals Headingley with an aggregate score of 357.
However Headingley player S.Olley produced the lowest Individual Score of 84 on the day beating Horsforth player S.Cottle on the back nine.
The Garforth President and retired LDU Competition Secretary, John Macmillan, found a new job as caddie for one of the players and said that this was a great start to the Centenary celebrations and felt sure the team benefited from his team talk!
