Seniors Championship
Stephen Mason (Wakefield) won the S D Bowyer Seniors Championship Trophy with a score of 72 , beating Jonny Lawrence (Moor Allerton) on countback. Mark Lawson (Garforth) was third with a score of 73.
The competition was held at Selby Golf Club which was in magnificent condition. Whilst the sun shone a tricky wind made scoring difficult.
Barry Hewitt (Wakefield) won the A V Wright Trophy with a terrific stableford score of 39 points.
Mac Forsythe (Normanton) won the veterans cup a score of 34 points.
Prizes in the age group categories were:
Age 50 - 59 Winner Chris Walker (Lofthouse Hill) 37 points
Runner up Neil Stansfield (Scarcroft) 36 points
Age 60 -69 Winner Vince Johnson (Lofthouse Hill) 38 points (countback)
Runner up Ian Brill (Moor Allerton) 38 points
Age 70 and over Winner Mac Forsythe (Normanton) 34 points (countback)
