Leeds Seniors Championship Wakefield Rules

All competitors must hold a WHS Handicap Index


The Handicap Index limit is 28.0 and any player with a greater index will be limited to 28.0. 


Each player must have submitted a minimum of 6 fully completed competition 18 hole round score cards acceptable for WHS handicap purposes in the 12 months before the day of the competition to qualify to win a prize.


The Union reserves the right to amend tee times. 


No refund if entry is cancelled within 7 days of competition.


Competitors are expected to keep pace with the Group in front. Slow play will be monitored and may result in disqualification.


Prizes will also be presented to the winner and runners up in each of the following groups, subject to a minimum of 10 entries per group:


Group A - Age 50 to 59,


Group B - Age 60 to 69,


Group C - Age 70 and over The Veterans Cup will be presented to the winner of Group C.


The competition shall be played in accordance with the current R&A /USGA Rules of Golf and the local rules of the club upon whose course the event is being played. Full details are available in the Tournament Rules and Regulations.
