Charity Team Event 2018 held on the new Wetherby Golf Course layout.

Wetherby Golf Club hosted the 2018 Charity Team event only one week after opening the new very challenging Par 3 17th and Par 5 18th holes which add a very spectacular finish to the round. The design of the holes provides a tough finish with the long 18th hole now finishing in front of the clubhouse.

The Lofthouse Hills team of Kieran Nicholls ( 5), Chris Walker (9), Peter Hayes (10) and Justin Edwards (15) produced an impressive 21 under par score of 125 to beat the Wetherby team of John Davis (4), Wayne Greenwood (8), Martin McCarney (6) and Alex Tobin (9) on 126 into second place.

The competition was well supported and provides much needed support for the Leeds Childrens Charity.
