LDU Fixtures Review and Update
Following the last announcement on the 8th May 2020, cancelling LDU Fixtures until the end of June 2020, and taking into consideration Government guidance and the fact that Golf Clubs remain closed it was agreed that a further extension to cancellations was required until the 18th July 2020.
The following events will be cancelled: - The Charity Four Man Team event at Scarcroft on 2nd July.
The Associate Members Mid Summer Team Meeting at Cookridge Hall on 16th July.
The Griffin Mixed Championship at Normanton on the 19th July.
A further review will be taken on the 1st July to review all aspects affecting the organisation and running of Competitions in a safe environment with support from our host Clubs who have significant pressure on making tee times available for their own members after the lockdown. It is sincerely hoped that the excellent work done by our NHS teams in saving lives and the social distancing maintained by us all will continue to give us the confidence to return to some form of normality in the near future.
We hope to be able to return to competitive golf with the First Division Team Championship on 23nd July at Moortown if all goes well .
