Fixture cancellations 2020/2021
For the first time I can remember the Executive had to make a difficult decision to cancel the Xmas Alliance at Scarcroft on 9th December 2020. With members only returning to golf today it has not been possible to pull together the competitors via Clubs and a shotgun start is not a viable option with current Covid restrictions.
Scarcroft and other Clubs will have a large demand for members tee times as we come out of lockdown and desperate to play golf and the priority is to support Clubs and their members at this time.
With the uncertainty of the Covid restrictions moving forward int the new year and the possibility of weather problems, which forced cancellations this year, it has been decided that the January and February Alliances will not be scheduled and our competitive season will start with the Associate Members event on the 25th March 2021.
