Knock Out Finals

Owing to the COVID pandemic the Union had to play its finals at multiple venues as it was not possible to find a course that could host all of the finals on one day.

The seniors KO was contested between Low Laithes and Gotts Park at Cookridge Hall on 22 August 2021. Low Laithes won the first match 2 - 1 and looked favourites to take the cup as they were 1 up going down the 16th in the second match. However. Gotts Park prevailed in this match to win 1 up. In the third match, Gotts Park were one up on the 18th tee only to be foiled by Low Laithes so it was down the 19th for the last paring, the first extra hole being halved.. The match was fibally decied on hole 20 when Gotts Park holed a teasing 6 footer to win by virtue of having a shot and so secure the Seniors Trophy.
