The Union held the Ken Romaine Salver at Low Laithes on 14th September where rain, and a cold blustery wind, proved challenging to posting good scores with only two competitors beating par.
This competition is open to the winning teams in each of the Junior Leagues, the winners of the Junior Knockout competition and the winners of the Team Championship (Nett and Gross scores). The format is individual stableford with the best 2 scores from 3 counting.
It looked as though Wetherby would retain the Salver with a score of 64 points until the last team out, Cookridge Hall 2, posted an impressive score of 72 points.
As is customary, the winners of the Leagues were presented with their shields.
Junior Organiser Paul Browning presented the trophies.
