Leeds Junior Match play final played at Howley Hall G.C.
Grace Gill (Garforth) won the Strokeplay on countback against fellow Garforth member, Sam McIntyre, and they were seeded to meet in the Final at Howley Hall.
They both fought there way into the Semi Finals and Grace became only the second girl player to ever reach the final. Sadly Sam sustained a nasty cut to his jaw in an Ice hockey match and had to concede his semi final game to Selby player Lucas Skilbeck.
On a cool but sunny afternoon the course played difficult with fast running greens but the quality of the golf was first class from two of our best Junior players..
Lucas played very steady golf and Grace had more than her fair share of visits to bunkers and the match finished on the 14th green with Lucas winning 5 and 4 to take home the Presidents Cup.
