Chirstmas Alliance
The Union held its Christmas Alliance at Scarcroft on 3rd December 2025, the main purpose of which was to raise funds for the Leeds Children's Charity, a cause of which the Union has supported for over 80 years. Megan Phillips, the Fund and Events Manager for the Charity spoke briefly about what the Charity does at Lineham Farm for disadvantaged children before accepting a cheque for £5,000 from Union President Bill Watt.
20 teams competed in a shotgun start. The winners with a score of 82 points were K. Morrall & R. Best (Selby) with P. Simms & G. Hall (Normanton , 3 points ahead of runners up
G. Parkin & C. Duckels (Scarcroft) with D. Mountain & A Wadeley (Darrington) .
A Christmas lunch was enjoyed by all prior to an auction and raffle that raised £3,890 for the Charity, a fantastic sum.
